my stay at Veneto Boutique was exceptional! returning to rethymno exceeded my expectations with delightful dining and a charming atmosphere. the room was spacious and clean. The staff were super accommodating throughout my visit.

the elevator was a bit too small.

the last place I expected to flood was my own bathroom, and light pollution from windows woudl ve been a nice touch if I wanted to wake up at dawn. Definitely, I expected a better room design, I mean, just some modern outlets near the bed woudl have sufficed. Almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

A historical gem in Rethymno

Staying at Veneto Boutique Hotel was like stepping back in time. The breathtaking architecture combined with modern amenities and a charming courtyard made the experience truly special. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and dining at the on-site restaurant was a culinary highlight, offering a unique blend of Cretan and Italian cuisine. I’ll always remember sipping wine from their exquisite cellar in the intimate patio atmosphere.

However, my room unfortunately lacked internet connection, which was a bit frustrating for planning my daily excursions. The shower could also use some improvements, as the temperature fluctuated too often between icy and boiling, disrupting relaxing moments. A couple of complimentary bottles of water would also have been appreciated during my stay.

The location is excellent for exploring, with

numerous historical sites and local eateries just a stone's throw away. The charming decor and cleanliness stood out, but I did notice that the breakfast area could be better organized during peak times.

The charming architecture and attentive staff created a wonderful atmosphere. The location in the heart of the old town allowed easy access to shops and restaurants. However, breakfast options were limited and often ran out too early, which was disappointing.

This place suits me perfectly with great air conditioning, a bar/lounge area, and friendly staff. They even helped me find a jewel I lost during my stay! Don't miss out on the excellent service. I'm coming back next year!

Staying at this lovely place with my family and sister was such a treat! The historic charm of the building really added to the experience, and the beautiful courtyard was perfect for relaxing. Plus, we enjoyed the delicious food at the restaurant, which was some of the best we've had!

For dads, it would be great if they had a pool.

It was just a commendable fit for a brief pause in Rethymno with excellent value for money. The morning breakfast choice was quite impressive, with various options like yogurt, egg, and bacon. If you have mobility issues, request a lower room before your arrival.
